Purpose of surveillance audit

Ensure continuous compliance with standard requirements: Confirm that the organization's quality management system continues to meet the requirements of the IATF 16949 standard by conducting regular audits of the organization's quality management system, including audits of the compliance and effectiveness of documents, procedures, and records.

Ensure continuous improvement: Surveillance audits are also intended to ensure that the organization continues to improve its quality management system, including tracking of improvement suggestions and corrective actions proposed by previous audit results to ensure that problems are resolved and continuously improved.

Maintain certification validity: Surveillance audits help ensure that the organization's IATF 16949 certification remains valid and improves its competitiveness and credibility in the automotive industry supply chain

Ningbo Pingheng Machinery Co., Ltd. is a precision casting factory dedicated to providing customers with solutions such as copper castings, stainless steel castings, and carbon steel castings. We use the medium-temperature wax process to make wax molds and the silica sol process to make shells. Our products are widely used in EGR cooler accessories and ship heat exchanger accessories. Our customer base covers many well-known domestic diesel engine companies and automobile companies, so passing the IATF16949 system certification is essential for us.

We passed the NQA certification IATF16949 in 2023. In May 2024, the auditor conducted a supervisory audit on Pingheng. The first meeting of the supervisory audit started at 9:15 am on May 21. The auditor explained the background, purpose, and audit plan of the audit. After the meeting, Pingheng employees divided the work and cooperated according to the auditor's requirements.

The last meeting of the supervisory audit started at 2 pm on May 22. The auditor pointed out the problems found in the audit one by one and made requirements for the rectification date;

Through the audit, we found our shortcomings in product pre-planning and equipment and tooling maintenance, which pointed out the direction for our future factory management. We will continue to improve the shortcomings in management, strive to provide customers with better products and services, and strive to be a leader in the precision casting industry.
