A day in the shell-making workshop

Shell making process in the entire investment casting process, is a very critical process, we usually define the casting defects have 35 forms of expression, of which, due to the shell mold problems caused by the 18 kinds of, so companies want to improve product quality, control production costs, shell making process is the key; Shell making process is a high incidence of occupational diseases, how to do a good job of day-to-day protection, but also enterprises need to pay attention to the work;

Job Description:

1、Before entering the workshop, you must wear work clothes, dust mask, etc.;

2、Our workshop team leader reaches the work site 30 minutes in advance to carry out preparatory work

1)Check whether the equipment is normal or not according to the "equipment daily inspection table", check the equipment including slurry dipping machine, floating sand drum, constant temperature and humidity machine, dust collector and so on;

2)Check the suitability of each layer of slurry and record it;

3)Room temperature and humidity are within normal range and recorded;

3、After the inspection is completed, the employee starts to work normally

1)First remove the module from the cart and dip it into the wax mold cleaner

2)After cleaning, slowly immerse the module in the slurry at about 30° and rotate it, taking care that the air encased in the paint at the hooks, grooves and sharp corners of the module should be minimized;

3)Remove the module, turn it over 180°, remove the excess paint, and form a complete and uniform coating on the module, blow through the air bubbles in the hollows and sharp corners of the module with an air gun, and repeat the steps (2 and 3) if a uniform and complete coating cannot be obtained;

4)Place the module into the floating sand bucket and let all surfaces have an even layer of sand attached;

5)Pending completion of the entire vehicle, fill out the flow card;

6)Push the dried shells of the top layer to the next process.;

    4、After the work is finished, turn off the floating sand drum, electric light, keep the slurry drum and constant temperature and humidity machine in normal operation;
