A Day in the Life of a CNC Lathe

CNC lathe processing is through the turning precision casting surface, so that it can meet the customer's needs, in line with the drawing size requirements of a processing method; the accuracy of the processing quality, directly affecting the customer's use of the performance, so in the process of precision casting of investment casting, lathe machining control, which directly affects the quality of the product and the cost of production.

Working hours：

    We use two shifts in our CNC shop.

    day shift：AM 7:45~11:15，PM 12:15~16:45，

    night shift：16：45~0:45

Job Description：

       1、Workshop team leader arrives at the site 30 minutes in advance to carry out equipment point inspection work

             ● Turn on the equipment and check for abnormal noises

             ● Equipment surface cleaning

             ● Lubricant oil level within the engraved line

             ● Whether the cooling fan is functioning properly

             ● Cutting fluid 3 days to measure the refractive index

             ● No looseness or bruising of the workpiece

        2、Workshop team leader enters the daily production plan on the Kanban board

        3、Product debugging

        4、Record the first piece of test data and retain the first product

        5、Open the morning meeting, the implementation of product quality issues and the day's production plan

        6、Employees began to produce according to the plan, and make a record of self-inspection

        7、Turn off the power of the equipment after the end of production

   This is the day of our CNC lathe processing workshop, we currently have 18 sets of CNC lathes, the monthly production capacity of up to 25W pieces of products, our company has more than 20 years of experience in the precision casting industry, in the stainless steel precision casting, copper alloy precision casting field have a certain share of the domestic well-known automotive parts and components of many years of supporting experience, so that our factory's quality control, rapid response capability have been improved. And we have passed the system certification of IATF16949.
