Control of melting temperature: Because copper has a high melting point, it is important to carefully regulate the melting temperature to prevent material qualities from declining due to overheating or overcooling.
Liquid metal mobility: Copper is more mobile when it is liquid, but this can also result in an uneven flow of liquid metal within the mold.To prevent this, make sure the material is fully filled with mold details by using a reasonable pouring system design and applying pressure.
Oxidation issue: Because copper is oxidative, it is important to control the pouring temperature and design the pouring system in a way that minimizes oxidation's negative effects on casting quality.
